Just finished watching Howl's Moving Castle. (Yes, I know. It's taken me long enough to actually get it.)
loooooooooooooooove. You see how much I love it? I extend the use of o just to prove it to you. Goodness, Miyazaki is a god. (As is Howl, I must say, ahem hem.) Funny how my friends say that I remind them of Sophie. (As if the long brown hair wasn't enough to convince them.)
Gahhh, Christmas shopping time is upon me, and the very problem is that I lack just that: time. I have rarely a spare moment to sleep (hence the reason that me getting to sit down for a few hours to watch Howl was so remarkable--my mom told me to turn it off and go take a shower, and I basically said, 'Hellz no, woman. Leave me be.' Fun.) let alone go shopping for gifts and etc.
Tomorrow is the mother effing SAT. Suckasstest getouttamylife. So I'll be up bright and early to take that, and then to top of that sucky beginning I end the day with soccer practice at which we've already been informed that we'll be running sprints. Life loves me, srsly.

Soooo, Stella died yesterday.
I felt really bad for Liz; she had that cat for all of two weeks and it goes and eats the catnip. Not blaming it of course, just horrid timing is all. The poor thing had some nasty virus that basically made it drown in its own bodily fluids. Just terrible. They had her put down to save it from further misery.
We took Liz out to see Stranger Than Fiction with Will Ferrel with the hopes of cheering her up. Not the best choice, as that whole movie basically centered around death. Death, however, in an uplifting way at least. It wasn't as comedic as I had anticipated; Will was surprisingly serious and monotone... he had a great performance. And despite the lack of comedy, I was still enthralled. It was a dramatic comedy, I suppose. Filled with irony and insight. I really liked it. But then, I really like anything Will is in.
I'm excited because when we go back to school, it's only for TWO DAYS. Huzzah. I need that break like crazy. asdasldfja;lskdjal;skdf;ls.

So, Hazel and I pretty much win at life. In AP Lang at least.
Practice was surprisingly fun today-- defense was pitted against offense, as always, and despite our floudering attempts to counter and many situps we had to do as a result of our loss (I swear I'm going to have abs of steel by the end of the season) I found myself laughing uncontrollably. This year is a step above last year, at least.
The AP Euro project went well. Projects like this always makes me a little mad; that several days of toil produce 15 minutes of information that are regarded with a mere haphazard glance and then disregarded within the first minute is irksome. However, it went off without a hitch, which placates me slightly.
The monkey that my parents claim is really my brother told me that I look and act like Hermione Granger. Thanks? Am I really that much of a wet blanket? Okay, I give him that my hair looked like hers today (damm frizz) but honestly. I'm only a bit of a know-it-all when it comes to history, and that's because its my thing. Plus, I'm far more athletic than her. Psh. I'd snap that chick in half. Although, it's not a bad thing to be like her. Its just because it came from Connor.
"Attention Target team members. Will everyone who donated to the Pony-Mountin' Phil Fund please report to Butterscotch in toys. For those of you who didn't, you can still come and laugh at him." - Eiko.
You made my day with that. A good laugh can go a long way.

Yikesss.
So, I'm not going to even try to make up for lost time here and try to explain why I haven't been updating. Let's just get to the point. I'm a lazyass.
Soooo.
I'm sick. And of course, the germs decide to assault me on the weekend I have a huge AP Euro powerpoint to concoct. Brill, just brill. I love how it hit me like a brick wall--I turned the corner and WHAM my sinuses explode. My father has been force-feeding me a mix of soup, tea, nastyass crackers, and gatorade. I've gone through four bottles of gatorade in one day. I'm on my fifth. I'll be lucky if I don't pee rainbow colors-- sorry if I sound crass. It's only 9:30 and my mother wants me to go to bed. Like hell I will! I can rarely go to sleep when I want to, so what does she think she'll achieve by forcing me to?
I bask in the glory of my drama-less life. I can't help but giggle as my friends tell me all about the varying issues they have going on. My life is so blissfully boring and uneventful. I have the predictability of a middle-aged person, srsly.
Anyway.
Pre-calc is beckoning me to it with its horrific screech-like attempts at a siren's song. Only they don't attract me. They deter me. And make my ears bleed. But I go to it anyway, and just like those moronic sailors, I follow it to my doom, blissfully unaware of how much sh-t I just got myself into...

May I say that I have been COMPLETELY underwhelmed by the backpack selections in stores nowadays?
I went backpack shopping today, seeing as I've had the same backpack since, oh... sixth grade. I think five years is a bit much to ask of a single pack.
Suggestions? I'm sorely lacking in the good pack department. :[

HA.
Jeezuz. Only a little less than two weeks left until we go back to that hellish prison they call school. (although, in some strange way, I do in fact miss it... mainly just the simple things like carrying around books and moseying through hallways.)
I'm going stir-crazy being trapped in my house.
I've been volunteering at the nursing home. Quite an experience. Kind of sad how our lives are really just cycles... we start out in diapers, and end in them too. The people are all lovely and each a character. Mary has to be taught every day how to play bingo, but can remember every single verse from any hymn you ask her to sing. The power of religion.
Haven't played soccer in a while. I think I've forgotten how. I've been doing karate though, and it's splendid. I feel strong, and graceful, and like I could totally kick your ass even though I obviously can't.
Went to D.C. and N.J. D.C. was heaven because the history nerd in me nearly peed it's pants in excitement. So many monuments, museums, landmarks to see. It was love. We went on college visits too... you know my parents. We took the train up there-- it's my new love. Never again shall I travel by any other means.
yeah.
a lot to tell, but I am too lazy a girl to be bothered.

Erin and I have a huge scheme on how we will meet and seduce our future husbands.
It involves bagels, and it is sheer brilliance.
btw, my husband is my dear Robert Pattinson, her's, William Moseley. Darling things. Too bad they have no idea we exist. le sigh.
Anyway. My weekend was incredibly (and deliciously) boring, for once. I took my brother to go see The Benchwarmers, and man, was it funny. I'm a total sucker for those really lame comedies--plus, anything with John Heder, David Spade, and Rob Schneider has got to be awesome. And it sure as hell was. "The sun isn't a monster!"
History is kicking my ass, royally. It's ridiculously difficult and trying. I've given all the energy I possibly possessed to the subject, entirely neglecting my others as a result. Hence the B's I have in Math and Chemistry. Fun fun.
May 3. I'm beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel...
